Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how to request deletion of data held by AppD AI Automation Solutions ("AppD AI"). It applies to business customers who use our platform and to individuals who have exchanged WhatsApp messages with a business that uses our platform.
1. If you are a business customer of AppD AI
- Sign in to your AppD AI account.
- Contact us at next@appd.ai from your registered email, with the subject line "Account Data Deletion Request".
- State whether you want deletion of specific data (for example, particular contacts or conversation history) or full account deletion.
On verified full-account requests we will: disconnect your WhatsApp Business Account integration, delete your stored contacts, conversation data, automation flows, connected AI provider credentials, and account profile, and confirm completion by email.
2. If you messaged a business that uses AppD AI
For messages you exchanged with a business on WhatsApp, that business is the controller of the data. The fastest route:
- Contact the business directly and ask them to delete your data. They can action this in their AppD AI dashboard.
- Alternatively, email next@appd.ai with the subject line "End User Data Deletion Request". Include the WhatsApp phone number you messaged from and, if known, the name of the business you contacted. We will verify the request, coordinate with the relevant business, and action deletion as required by applicable law.
3. Requests originating from Meta or Facebook
If you connected to our services through a Meta technology and initiated a data deletion request from your Facebook or Meta settings, that request is routed to us. We honour such requests according to Meta's platform requirements. You can also contact us directly at next@appd.ai quoting your request confirmation number.
4. What we delete, and timelines
- Verification: we verify identity before deleting, to protect your data from fraudulent requests.
- Timeline: verified requests are actioned within 30 days, or sooner where applicable law requires.
- Scope: personal data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised across production systems. Encrypted backups purge on their scheduled rotation cycle.
- Legal retention: limited records may be retained where law requires, for example invoicing and tax records. These are isolated and deleted when the retention period ends.
- Confirmation: you receive written confirmation when deletion completes.
